Featuring the latest combustion technology together with lightweight forged aluminium pistons and all-aluminium DiASil cylinders with an offset design, the smooth-running and quick-revving YZF-R3 engine produces easy-to-manage power.
A trick multi-function instrument panel includes an analogue tachometer and digital speedometer and to underline its strong R-series heritage the R3's instruments feature a shift timing indicator lamp similar to the design used on the YZF-R1.
